In-person Benefit Class
Do yoga with shelter cats and kittens!
Join me for a cat-themed and cat-infused yoga class at 6 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Windows on Broadway, 401 Broadway in Highland, IL. Metro East Humane Society - Highland facility will provide the felines that will accompany us during our practice and may even participate (they ARE cats, you know). We'll be encouraging them with cat toys from time to time.
Following our fun practice, stick around and get to know our guests of honor. All cats will be available for adoption, so you may even find your purr-fect match!
The yoga practice will incorporate standing, seated, and floor postures with some vinyasa (flow). If you're new to yoga, no worries - I'll explain it as we go!
The cost for Cats on Mats is $30 with 100% of collected fees going to Metro East Humane Society-Highland facility thanks to the generous donation of event space by Windows on Broadway!
What to bring:
• Yoga mat
• Cat toy on a stick to help interact with cats during yoga
• Water
• Any props you like to use, such as a blanket or block
Attendance Prize Drawing
Make an additional cash donation to Metro East Humane Society or bring a wish list item to be entered into a drawing for a free month of yoga at Energy Yoga & Fitness. Here's their wish list:
• Walmart, Sam's, or Petsmart gift cards
• Clay Litter
• Bleach
• Lysol/Clorox Disinfecting wipes
• Blue Dawn dish soap
• Unscented Liquid Laundry Detergent
• Heavy Duty large/extra-large trash bags
